After a long break, Sanaya Irani is back on the tube. Irani was previously in the limelight for her wedding with long-time beau Mohit Sehgal. Post their wedding and the news about the honeymoon destination, the actress was completely off the radar.

But now she is back with a new show as the lead opposite Aditya Redij. Irani is playing the lead in Full House Media’s next on Star Plus, titled "Meenu Mausi." The show will focus on the life of an unmarried aunt, who sacrifices her life to raise her sister’s three kids.

Initially, Shaleen Malhotra was also being considered for the lead role opposite Irani, but, since he got roped in by Balaji, Redij bagged this one. Coming to the chemistry between the two, Irani has always liked someone who has an intense look – Barun Sobti and Ashish Sharma; and Redij seems to follow the same breed.
